Try Google Scholar (different from plain Google), to locate scholarly literature: articles, reports, book chapters, etc., in all different subject areas. Some Google Scholar records include links to full text on the right column of the results page. To see links to Gutman Library holdings, link to Google Scholar from a library web page, like Databases A to Z. You then can see "Full-Text@Gutman Library" links, which, when selected, will open up a new page containing "Article" or "Journal" links. "Article" takes you to the page where the full article is available, and if it doesn't, try the "Journal" link to get to the journal page, where you can navigate by year, volume, issue and page to get to the correct article. For more information see the Google Scholar Research Guide.
Google Scholar Tips:
--You can limit your retrieval (in Google or Google Scholar) to just educational (edu) or governmental (gov) sites by adding: site:.xxx to your search.
Ex: tsunami site:.gov -- Pulls governmental sites on tsunamis
--You can limit your retrieval to a format type, like pdf by adding: filetype:xxx to your search.
Ex:disaster relief training filetype:pdf -- Pulls pdf's on disaster relief training
